The City of Brighton is located in Adams County, near Denver, about 20 miles north of the Downtown area between Highways I-76 and 85, on Highway 7. Even though people still refer to Brighton as a small town, it currently has close to 30,000 permanent residents.Brighton is the host of the annual Adams County Fair, which has grown in popularity over the past several decades. Another popular attraction in Brighton is the Murray Maize Maze, which covers 15 acres.

Within the city limits, there are currently approximately 10,500 filled jobs, which is a huge increase over the past five years. The city projects that the number of available jobs in Brighton will increase by another 10,000 within the next ten years.
