Westminster

Westminster is a large city with approximately 105,000 residents. The city is located between Denver and Boulder, off Highway 36. Westminster’s population has grown significantly over the past couple of decades, and is now comprised of old ranches and new housing developments.

One of Westminster’s oldest standing structures is the “Pillar of Fire” building, which was built in 1892. Many items related to Westminster’s past are held in the Bowles House Museum – a popular attraction for anyone interested in learning more about the historical development of the city.

Located very close to Downtown Denver, Westminster is home to several large corporations. The three largest companies are Avaya, which employs about 1,600 people, Ball Corporation, which employs about 650 people, and Access Distribution Computer Systems & Networks, which employs about 320 people.

The median income for a household in Westminster is $56,323, the median income for a family is $63,776, the median income for males is $41,539, the median income for females is $31,568, and the per capita income for Westminster residents is $25,482.
