The nightlife is a force to be reckoned with, the food is amazing on every corner, and they are currently home to the one of the hottest football teams in the country.

Denver is the new city to beat among all the hip destinations in the country, and it will continue to be until someone finds a reason to dethrone it. Tebow Fans Might Flock to Denver

Of the countless homes Denver has to offer, none are more famous than Mile High Stadium – home to the Denver Broncos. You have probably heard this stadium mentioned more and more recently, thanks to a little guy that goes by the name of Tim Tebow. The star quarterback for the Broncos has made Denver a household name as of late, and considering the kind of publicity he brings the town, he will probably continue to for years to come. He’s kind of a big deal.

That being said, it would not surprise me in the least if the Denver real estate market takes an upward swing in the coming months as loyal fans of the team make the move to be full time supporters. There are plenty of available homes Denver has to fill, and what better time than now as Tebow just lead the team to its most exciting season in years, and is poised to be a huge sports star for the foreseeable future. It only makes sense, as just last year a number of diehard LeBron James fans moved to Miami to help cheer the Miami Heat to victory. People love sports, and when they have a favorite athlete they will do anything to show their support.

Tim Tebow, along with a talented Broncos team, might be the secret ingredient to filling up the homes Denver has scattered throughout the city. The more dedicated that Tebow fans get to rooting on their hero, the more likely they are to flock to Colorado to set up shop and get season tickets for the Broncos. The local economy should probably send Mr. Tebow a bouquet of flowers to thank him advance. The future of Denver real estate, and the economy in general, is looking a little brighter every day.

Lone Tree

Lone Tree is one of Colorado’s newest cities. It was first incorporated in 1995 and became an official city in 1998. The city was established, in part, because many people were discouraged about the potential for improper development along Colorado’s Highway 470. So, to ensure beneficial improvement to the area, residents voted to incorporate the city.

Lone Tree sits in Douglas County and has a population of approximately 10,000 residents. The city supports many facilities that residents as well as visitors from other cities can enjoy (some for a fee), including three recreation centers, parks and trails, and an outdoor summer concert series.

Lone Tree Economy

There are not many large corporations based in Lone Tree, but just outside of Lone Tree there are more than 10 large shopping centers/areas – including Park Meadows Mall – and many international corporate headquarters in the Denver Technological Center, which sits to the immediate north of Lone Tree.

The median income for a family in Lone Tree is $109,000, the median income for males is $90,690, the median income for females is $43,125, and the per capita income for Lone Tree residents is $46,287. About 1.2% of families and 1.4% of the population are below the poverty line, including 1.5% of those under age 18 and 3.7% of those age 65 or over.

Lone Tree Real Estate

Residential real estate in Lone Tree is on the expensive side. The average price for a single-family home is in the upper $600,000’s. It is possible to find residences that are priced lower than this, but they are usually condominiums. The highest priced homes in Lone Tree can be as much as several million dollars.

Lone Tree has 21 separate sub-divisions, most of which have HOA’s. Several of the neighborhoods support community swimming pools, tennis courts, and other amenities.

Many of Lone Tree’s residents are business executives who work in the Denver Tech Center. Due to its location, Lone Tree is a popular place to live for individuals and families in the upper economic bracket because it’s close to work and most of the homes in the city are luxurious.
