City Overview
Indian Hills is an unincorporated community that sits outside of the City of Denver. It’s a desirable place to live because it is a rural area that is within driving distance of Denver, which makes it possible to live in Indian Hills and commute to the Denver Metro area for employment and/or access to shopping.

What was once an area for summer cabins, Indian Hills has transformed into an area with permanent residences. Located in the Parmalee Gulch Valley in Jefferson County, Indian Hills is surrounded by Bear Mountain, Lone Peak, Mount Falcon and Bear Creek.

The population of Indian Hills is small, with only about 1,500 permanent residents.

Indian Hills is a rural area, which means that there are only a few businesses located within the community’s boundaries. Most residents are employed by companies located outside of Indian Hills.

Indian Hills is a desirable area because it’s rural living within half an hour of a major metropolitan city. Not only are the homes in Indian Hills close to nature, but Red Rocks Park is only about 15 minutes away from the community. Red Rocks Park contains one of the most spectacular outdoor concert areas on the globe, as well as hiking trails, and wildlife areas.
