City Overview Longmont is located within Boulder County, but is not a far drive from Downtown Denver. Specifically, it’s just over a 35 mile drive to Denver, and only about 15 miles from the City of Boulder. Many people live in Longmont and commute to Denver or Boulder for employment. Currently, there are approximately 85,000 people living in Longmont.Longmont is the perfect city for residents who enjoy the outdoors.
